At Legacy Mountain, we don’t believe in pushing people to ride a zipline who don’t want to. However, if a nervous guest is determined to go ziplining, we will do everything we can to reduce anxiety and make his or her trip as fun as possible. 1. Talk to your guides.
Your guides are there to help you with every step of the ziplining experience. If you are feeling nervous, tell them! Our instructors know that ziplining for the first time can be a bit scary, so they are prepared to put you at ease and answer any questions you might have.

In many cases, fear of heights is mixed with concerns about zipline safety. At Legacy Mountain, safety is our number one priority. All of the materials used to build our ziplines were obtained from the Association for Challenge Course Technology and all of our guides are ACCT certified. 3. Try to relax and enjoy.
With our experienced guides and the highest safety standards for the industry, guests have nothing to worry about. Instead of over analyzing, adopt a positive outlook and enjoy your experience. If you’re nervous, try to focus on your breathing or admire the scenic views of the Smoky Mountains. Just tell yourself the truth: everything will be totally safe and a lot of fun.
