Planning a visit to our ziplines in Pigeon Forge? Here are seven great tips for making the most out of your canopy tour:
1. Bring a Group
When it comes to ziplining, the more the merrier! Taking a canopy tour with a group of friends and family makes your zipline experience even more fun. We also offer special group discounts for parties of ten or more people. Fill out the form on our Pigeon Forge Ziplines Group Rates page to get more information about our special deals.
2. Dress Warmly
Ziplining can be done in chilly weather, but you should make sure you are dressed for the occasion. Remember, you will be high up in the mountains, which will expose you to the wind. We recommend dressing in layers so you can stay comfortable as the temperature rises and falls throughout the day. For safety you shouldn’t wear anything that’s too loose or baggy.
Our guides are experienced and well trained to assure that your ziplining experience is safe as well as fun. Before you start, there’s an orientation that takes about twenty minutes. Be sure to pay attention to the instructions so you are familiar with safety protocol. All ziplining adventures are led by two guides who will be with you every step of the way. Don’t hesitate to ask questions!

4. Make Sure Ziplining is Appropriate For You and Anyone You Bring
Ziplining is safe for most people, but there are a few exceptions. Our ziplines in Pigeon Forge are designed for people who weigh between 100 and 275 pounds. Children and others who weigh less than the minimum weight can ride tandem with a guide. Kids must be at least three years old to zipline. To safely participate in ziplining, you should have the use of all your limbs and be in good physical condition. This activity is not appropriate for pregnant women or people with serious medical conditions.
5. Prepare to Spend a Few Hours on Your Zipline Tour
Your tour consists of seven breathtaking ziplines, some of which are more than 2,500 feet long. Between the orientation and the actual tour, you can expect to spend at least three hours on your zipline adventure.
No matter what time of year you zipline, you can expect to see some memorable and fantastic things. Pigeon Forge is home to the majestic Smoky Mountains as well as spectacular wildlife. There are all kinds of birds as well as black bears, white-tailed deer, and many other species who live in the area. Keep your eyes open and you are sure to see some incredible sights!
7. Make a Reservation
In order to be sure we can accommodate you on the day you choose for your zipline adventure, it’s required that you make a reservation. You can make reservations online or by phone. For the best chances of scheduling your zipline adventure when you want it, make your reservations as far in advance as possible.
